I have not yet got a ticket – can I buy one on the gate?
Sadly not, for Covid safety this is a ticket only event IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A VALID PAID FOR TICKET YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED ENTRY! There is nowhere nearby, outside of thesite to safely park and watch the display.
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive in the time slot on your ticket. As a reminder the time slots are
o Row 2 Arrive between 5 and 5:30pm
o Rows 3 and 4 Arrive between 5:15 and 5:30pm
o Rows 5 and 6 Arrive between 5:30 and 5:45pm
o Rows 7 and 8 Arrive between 5:45 and 6pm
o Rows 9 and 10 Arrive between 6 and 6:30pm
o VIP tickets do not have a set entry time, turn up anytime between 5pm and 6:30pm
What if I turn up late?
If you turn up outside of your time slot you cannot be guaranteed entry.
How will I find the Display as it is in a rural location?
The address you are aiming for is Lily Lane, Aldeby, Norfolk NR34 0BP and if you have “What three words” you will need to use paid.waltz.ports.
Directions to the site are: From the Beccles “Macdonald’s roundabout head towards Great Yarmouth then turn right towards the village of Aldeby. As you enter the 40 limit turn right into Aldeby Street. At the bus shelter turn right and follow St Mary’s Road past the church and you will find Lily lane on your left at the top of the hill after about half a mile.
What happens when I arrive?
When you reach the gate you will be asked to show your ticket and give the name of the person who made the booking. Your car registration will be checked against the list held by the gate staff (this is so we can “check you in” for track and trace purposes)
o If you want an alcoholic drink you will be directed to the drive through bar, if not, marshals will direct you to your allocated space.
How will I stay safe and keep others safe?
When your vehicle is moving on site we ask that you stick to the 5mph speed limit and have your hazard lights showing.
When you have parked up please turn off your lights and hazards unless:
o You are awaiting the delivery of pre ordered food/drink/sweets/glow toys etc – in which case please leave your side lights on until the delivery has been made
o You have a problem and need assistance – in which case turn your hazard lights on.
Once parked you can leave your car but must stay in your allocated space other than toilet visits or emergencies.
Any team members who have contact with you will wear face coverings and there will be hand sanitiser stations near the toilets etc.
Please do not bring sparklers – sparks and petrol fumes do not mix well!
Are there any toilets on site?
There will be a male and female toilet at either end of Rows 5/6 and a unisex disabled toilet by the admin/first aid tent situated to the Western end (left as you look to the fireworks) of Row 5/6
Are there first aiders on site?
There is a dedicated first aid tent near the gate and several other first aid trained team members. If you need first aid turn your hazard lights on and a marshal will come to help you. The entire team will be in two way radio contact with each other so they can get you help quickly
How will they know where to bring my food and drinks order?
If you have ordered something, please leave your sidelights on until you receive your order, please then turn them off. The catering teams have a list of who has ordered what, which row they will be in and which car they will be in. “Runners” will then look for your car in your designated row. Leaving your lights on till you get your food will REALLY HELP the runners.
I forgot to order food etc, can I still do it?
Yes, you can still buy food, drink and sweet tickets via the website until the 1st. Simply click on the banner that says the event is sold out and book tickets in the same way that you bought your main tickets. We will then add it to your order.
Can I buy food etc on the night?
We strongly urge you to pre book food etc as that way you are guaranteed to get it. If you want to order items on the night, turn your sidelights on and tell the person who comes what you want. We will try to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee it.
I want to bring a different car, what do I do?
Simply let us know via the contact us form on the website and we will amend your order.
