As the nights are starting to close in again - or as they say round here “It’s getting late early now” we are entering our busy time of year. Here is a taster of a few things coming up.
31st October – This year for our annual Halloween fundraiser in aid of Macmillan cancer support we have teamed up with our friends at Carr Farm Burgh St Peter (check out Carr Farm Geese and Galloways on Facebook if you want some amazingly good meat) to create The Katherine Gredge Cursed Farm Scare Trail. The event will run between 7pm and 10pm and you will be terrified for around half an hour. There will be warm refreshments available. The event is outdoors so you will need warm waterproof clothes and sensible footwear (wellies or walking boots are advised) There will be a minimum donation to Macmillan of £10 per person. Watch this space for ticket details.
3rd November – We have once again been asked to organise the Aldeby Firework Spectacular. As in previous years this will take place at the Jump X lake in Lily Lane. The 12-minute pyromusical display will be fired at 7pm. Tickets will be available at the usual outlets (Burgh St Peter Post Office, Glebelands School etc.) or by contacting us via the website.
